Day 1 : Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and Ouarzazate
Depart from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate via the high Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka pass, the highest road pass in Africa (at 2260 m above the sea level).
After the Tizi n'Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side track into the Telouat Kasbah, the ancient palace of Pacha El Glaoui. And then to the UNESCO World Heritage monument of Kasbah Ait Benhadou.
You'll then be taken to Ouarzazate where you will have lunch and visit the the famous Taourirt Kasbah and cinema Studios of Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate ? Todra Gorges - Merzouga
Wake up and have your breakfast at the hotel in Ouarzazate, followed by a 4x4 drive through the 1000 Kasbah road to head the Skoura palm grove Oases where you will have the chance to visit the magnificent Amerhidil Kasbah.
Along the road to Merzouga desert, you will came to Kelaat Mgouna (city of roses in Morocco), Tinerhir, Todra Gorges, Tourog palm groves, Erfoud (where you can stop to see the fabrication of marble and fossils). Then you continue towards the impressive high sand dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) through Rissani.
Your sightseeing for Merzouga is getting started by two-hour camel ride in the Sahara and witnessing the magical sunset from the top of the high sand dunes. Have dinner and spend the night in nomad desert camp at the foot of Merzouga high sand dunes.
Day 3 Merzouga dunes to Zagora
Sunrise in Merzouga desert is a surreal experience ! The stillness, the silence, the sun breaking through the sand all make up to something unforgettable.
Breakfast will be served at the nomad tent, then you?ll be driven to Tafilalet palm groves via Rissani. After that, you will cross Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkobe.
In Zagora, you will be escorted by your driver to the hotel for a relaxing night in and a good sleep.
Day 4 Zagora to Ouarzazate and Marrakesh
Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel in Zagora, and then departure to Ouarzazate through the Draa valley and over the Atlas mountains.
Along the way from Zagora, Ouarzazate and Marrakesh you will have plenty of stops for photos and lunch.
Return to Marrakech, arriving approximately at 18:00hrs.
